To help us make this camp a reality, we are welcoming our Athletics Camp director Rachel Paden from the Unified Sports team from Ohio! Here is a little bit about Rachel:
“My name is Rachel Paden. I was born and raised in a small town in East-Central Ohio, and am currently studying Psychology with a focus in human development and social services at Michigan State University. When I was a junior in high school, I created and implemented an athletic program into my school district. This program was a way for those students and members of our community who had any kind of intellectual or physical disability to learn and practice skills of a variety of sports while playing alongside athletes from the Varsity and JV teams of my high school. I am very excited to get to bring a version of this program to Wisconsin this summer that is geared directly for You Belong!”
